Most of my work is best described as mixed media. It's hard for me to stick to just one medium. I like working with a variety of materials and exploring different effects and techniques. Below is a sampling of some of the things I have been up to over the years.
Drawlloween
Like Inktober but with a Halloween theme! Hosted by Mab Graves on Instagram for the month of October. I have been using these month long art challenges to focus on a couple of things. Using new papers or mediums I don't have a lot of experience with. And using the daily theme, combined with one of my creature characters, to work explore the boundaries of how I draw that character. A selection of the best from the month long adventure are featured below.
2020Digital drawings created on the iPad using Procreate. The intent was to create plant creatures around the prompt topics. Only able to do a few prompts this year instead of all 31.

Postcard Exchange
This is a selection of images that belong to a bigger exchange. These “postcards” were passed between myself and my sister created between 2001-2013. I say “postcards” because over the years I’ve changed the rules of what a postcard is defined as between us. A more accurate description would be that we exchange small bits of art that we create for each other. Most of the work is original, but from time to time we borrow images from other artists that have inspired us.
